Abby's surgical precision was recognized by Janet Biller. Any received a prize for her illustrative work titled, "hear No, See No, Speak No."

A HUGE Congratulations to Crab Orchard's FFA Freshman Conduct of Meetings Team for winning the Section 24 Contest at SIU. They will on to the district contest for an opportunity to compete at the state level. Team members consist of Eden A, Raven D, Brylee C, Khasen A, Cash H, Dylan M, and Cole J.
Crab Orchard would like to give a shout out and congratulations to our FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team. They finished in 3rd place and were only 14 points (out of 1,000) away from moving on. This team consists of Wyatt B, Leo L, Josh V, Tucker R, Dayton T, and Ashton F.

Crab Orchard High School Basketball team will play at Crab Orchard High School @ 1:00 pm on Saturday - February 19th, 2022. The Quarterfinal Regional game will be vs Century High School.
Ticket cost for everyone is $5.00 (set by the IHSA). Season ticket holders will be able to sit in their seats, but will have to pay the ticket cost.
The winning team will advance to the Egyptian Regional on Wednesday - February 23rd, 2022 @ 7:30 pm.
High School Basketball Update: Tuesday, February 15th is our high school basketball Pink Out game. This is now a VARSITY ONLY game. The home varsity game will still start at 6:00 pm.
Crab Orchard CUSD 3 would like to send Wyatt Beasley, a huge CONGRATULATIONS!!! Yesterday, Wyatt competed with his FFA record book and is now the Section 24 proficiency winner in the area of beef entrepreneurship. He will now advance to the district contest where he will compete against members from across Southern Illinois for the chance to advance to the state contest. Way to go Wyatt!!!
